Cookie Policy

Last Updated: 4 July 2025

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit. They allow the site to remember certain information — such as whether you have accepted a consent notice — between page loads or visits.

We keep our cookie use minimal. This policy explains what we store, why, and how you can change it at any time.

2. Cookie Types We Use

Essential Cookies

Always active

Required for the site to function. We store your cookie consent preference in localStorage under the key cookieConsent. This record is what prevents the consent banner from reappearing on every visit.

Duration: persistent (until you clear browser storage)

Analytics Cookies

Optional

Used to understand how visitors use the site — pages visited, time spent, and general navigation patterns. Data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors. Currently we use privacy-respecting analytics only if you consent.

Duration: session and persistent up to 13 months

Marketing Cookies

Optional

Set by advertising platforms (such as Google Ads or Meta Pixel, if active) to understand whether a site visit led to an action. These are only active if you consent and if such platforms are configured on the site.

Duration: up to 90 days depending on platform

Preference Cookies

Optional

Remember settings you have chosen, such as display preferences or language. These improve your experience on return visits but are not required for the site to function.

Duration: persistent up to 12 months

3. Third-Party Cookies

If analytics or marketing cookies are enabled, third-party services may set their own cookies. These could include Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Pixel. Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.

We do not control third-party cookies once they are set. You can remove them at any time using your browser settings (see Section 5).

4. Your Cookie Preferences

Use the controls below to manage your preferences. Changes take effect immediately and are saved in your browser.

5. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can also control cookies directly from your browser. Note that blocking all cookies may affect site functionality.

Google Chrome
Go to Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. You can block third-party cookies, clear existing cookies, or add exceptions for specific sites. To clear localStorage, open DevTools (F12), go to Application → Storage → Local Storage, and delete the cookieConsent entry.
Mozilla Firefox
Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. You can manage cookie behaviour, clear stored data, and set exceptions. To clear localStorage, open DevTools (F12), go to Storage → Local Storage.
Apple Safari
Go to Safari → Settings → Privacy. Enable "Prevent cross-site tracking" and "Block all cookies" as needed. To clear site data, go to Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data and remove the relevant entry.
Microsoft Edge
Go to Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data. You can block third-party cookies and clear existing data. To manage localStorage, open DevTools (F12), go to Application → Storage → Local Storage.

Mobile browsers: cookie settings are usually found under Settings → Privacy or Settings → Site permissions within the browser app.

6. Your Rights and Contact

You have the right to withdraw cookie consent at any time using the controls in Section 4, or by clearing your browser storage. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Disabling optional cookies will not prevent you from using the site or accessing course materials. It may affect our ability to understand site usage and to serve relevant advertising if you have previously interacted with our ads.
